Current Programs

Program possibilities are presented by the Administration or Superintendent of schools. Teachers may also submit requests for grants for class programs/projects, field trips, equipment, books and other supplemental materials. The GEEF board of trustees reviews and votes on each proposal to determine whether funding will be appropriated.

Thank you to all alumni and friends of Granite Schools that have contributed thus far or plan to donate in the future!

Operation Panther Cub—New PK-3rd Grade School Building Campaign

Description:
This project kicked off during mid May 2023, with the main objective to establish a network of alumni contacts who would, in turn, assist in soliciting fellow alumni/friends to supplement funds needed to construct a new Panther Cub Den. Our goal is a very optimistic $1MM.

Updates:
As of June 24, 2024, we have more than 100 donors and received over $131,000 in contributions for our current Operation Panther Cubs campaign which began late May 2023. Great job Panthers! Build that Den!!

Supported Projects and Programs

Art and Music Program Funded for 2024-2025 School Year!

GREAT NEWS!  Ella Murray will be teaching the new music/art program for PK-3rd.  The funds will also support the JH/HS academic achievement program offering opportunities for the upper grades to learn more about the arts.   Ella wrote a grant proposal that she presented to Granite Educational Enrichment Foundation for $3300.00 to establish this program.  The foundation trustees were excited to fund this opportunity for our students. Donations made to GEEF by alumni and friends of Granite Schools made this presentation possible. Shown in the photo receiving funding for these programs are Ella Murray – art/music education teacher, Brian Jones – Principal, Brenda Hickerson – GEEF Chair and Missy Berry – Superintendent.
